He said that we have to admit that the Taliban threw the Western government out of their country. He said that they thought the Taliban were the winners in this regard.

Talking about Pakistan he said, it is an important part of Russia's North-South project, We are working on the Russian language in Pakistan and they are grateful to Pakistani authorities for starting the Russian language in universities.

He said that they have recently introduced the Russian language in Allama Iqbal Open University.

He said that if there is a threat to the existence and integrity of Russia, then anything can happen, but it is not so easy. Russia has more ties with India because we are together on big projects, the ambassador said.

Talking about Pakistani politics, the Russian ambassador said that he could not comment on the internal affairs of Pakistan asking what can they do in the form of an alliance between India and America against China. He said that India protects its interests.

He said that our law regarding the use of nuclear weapons is clear, Russia will use nuclear weapons only when there is a threat to its sovereignty.
